- Dear all, as you already know from Jayne's post this afternoon, Echo was found alive last night. We received a call from the family who picked him up near their estate about 6 miles from where he originally went missing. We were lucky that he fell into the hands of very nice people, otherwise I can't even begin to think what could have happened. Unfortunately it looks like that Echo has been hit by a car during his missing, as our vet confirms, Echo has a dislocated hip and is going into surgery on Thursday morning. I agree with emmabellalandy regarding the effectiveness of posters, as well as of course this wonderful site, my husband and I posted over 200 posters around East London, offering a reward. The family who found him, luckily dog lovers as well, were able to identify Echo through one of those posters, but they also mentioned seeing him on one of the missing dogs websites (although they didn't say which one). Thank you for all your support and good wishes. Mr & Mrs Lewis xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi I was the person that saw Echo on missing pet register and texted you on your mobile to tell you about doglost being a wonderful site. I couldn't stop thinking about him and how much of a stunning dog he is and prayed he wouldn't get into the wrong hands and sold on or worse. I checked out loads of private ads in papers and that, just so thankful and happy for you totally and I hope he stays safe from now on. Take care!!!xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
