- i would keep Herbert in now for a week or two, in case he goes awol again, though I would imagine he is so happy to be home, so will stay put.

- This is absolutely fantastic news. am elated for you. It may be that he had climbed into a vehicle, or was chased out of his territory by a dominant cat. and became lost, and disorientaed, but as cats have homing instincts, he managed to find his way home. Stay close now Herbert:-) :-) :-) : -)xxxxxxx Is Herbert neutered?

- All I can suggest here is that you ask friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. I would also post a LOST CAT in a National newspaper in case he has climbed into a vehicle. Post around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. Hr has to be somewhere. I know of one lady whose cat was found after going missing for six months. Apparently the cat decided to move in with an elderly lady, whom I suspect had been feeding her. However when the lady passed away, the cat was scanned for a microchip, and the very suprized owner was reunited with her pet. The cat wssn`t too far away. Not a good idea to feed other people`s cats in my opinion.
