Hi All, thank you again for all the help!! Max is safely back home now. All bouncy as usual. :) He will be chipped and we are planning for him to be castrated ASAP. He has his tag on. Thank you for all the suggestions. Max is not the digger by nature but I think it`s just that time of the year when he can`t help it so hopefuly castration will do the job but we will also secure the fence. Many, many thanks once again and I would love to offer our help in looking for any other lost doggies so please let me know how we can join in. xxxxxxxxxxxx from Max and all of us.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, I'm so glad Max is home and all is well. I'm the lady who phoned the owners to say he had been seen in Wingham High Street, but that was in response to an email alert from Doglost that he was missing. I didn't spot the posters earlier in the morning when I took my dog out for his walk, maybe I was still asleep! I'm very pleased that it has all ended happily. Great news. Welcome home Max.x Owner, if Max is a digger, get some chicken wire and dig it in along the bottom of your fence. Tends to stop them or at least give you a bit more time to see what they are up to! I have a digging dog and it's working OK for me at the moment. Also make sure you get him a chip and tag just in case. Stay safe Max darling.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Fingers crossed for tomorrow that it is Max, don't forget to let us know, as Millie's mum says, please microchip Max, it really does help those missing dogs find their way home, your vet should be able to do it for you. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank You so much for all the support and kind thoughts. I think we are nearly there!!!! This a.m. a local lady called ( she noticed our lost dog advert by the news agents as we placed some last night). She told us that Max (most likely) has been seen yesterday a.m. in the village centre and a gentleman passed him to the police who contacted the local dog warden. So after many phone calls we know that he is most likely in the kennels (Dover/ Folkestone) but as it's Bank Holiday and the dog warden's day off, unfortunately we have to wait until tomorrow to find out more details. And it looks like he *did* manage to get out as during close inspection we discovered a tunnel under the fence :-> So much for the secure garden :-} Thanks once again! It`s very comforting to know how many people care. The children were very upset yesterday. They can`t wait to see Max again. (((Hugs))) BogumilaLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
