Poor Willow, I think the hoover idea is a good one since her sense of smell should be very strong, with her being blind. She may be missing her owner too.
If she's very old, some cats do go off an find a place to find peace. Please let Willow be found asap.
Unknown
Forgot to say. Can someone empty the contents of the hoover onto Willow`s garden? Her scent , the owners scent, and the scent of Willow`s house will be there. Paws, and finger xd,

Thanks everyone. Has anyone in the neighbourhood gone on holiday? As Willow could have crept into a house whilst, the residents were putting items into their car. It can, and has happened. Also bearing in mind cats can crawl into very small spaces (Flexi spines) Or is she too frail to do so?

Have also shared to Garston Animal Rescue https://www.facebook.com/GarstonAnimalRescue/ Have been advised its their area and they might organise a search party together with volunteers. Could you contact them MajorJet (Jan) to see if they could help?

Thanks janiejewel1649, the area is very built up and busy roads. :(

I have seen Willow and she bumps into everything and looks very frail.

Check empty houses, and cellars too. And of course Decking.

Presume someone is feeding Willow, as her owner is in hospital? First check behind hedges, and bushes. Check all outbuildings, THOROUGHLY, as some cats will hide in or behind an object within. She is obviously missing her owner. Put some tuna, or warm chicken in her dish, and call her; night.early morning is best. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with owners scent too if possible. Wipe her scent on all the garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeak toy, as it may attract her attention. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. If all else fails, I would borrow a cat trap from say, Cat Protection, or rescue centre, (For a small donation I think). And place inside an object with his scent on, and owners. Place the trap (If used) in, or near Willow`s garden. Paws, and fingers xd. Last edited: 2018-06-20 22:07:33

Willow belongs to neighbours I know very well. I have checked with Knowsley Council to make sure she has not been involved in an RTA and Owner’s daughter has contacted Liverpool Council. I’ve alerted Liverpool RSPCA in case she is taken there and advised vets are contacted. Have been driving round in the area looking for her. Also when out walking dogs very late at night.

Neighbour who lives opposite Willow’s Home knocked earlier to see if there was any news. Poor girl hope she is found soon.

THANK YOU to everyone who is sharing and looking out for her.
