Sadly Charlie has been found deceased . From owner Kate:
" It is with great sorrow that I have to report that Charlie was found floating in the sea a mile out from Mothercombe. We got the call around midday. We have retrieved her. We are utterly heartbroken as you can imagine. This is a photo taken on the way to Bigbury on Friday evening. She couldn't have had a happier life she was adored by everyone who knew her. She was the sweetest girl and a great mum. Thank you everyone who helped to spread the word and supported us through the past 2 days. We think she Must've slipped and fell, either died on the way down or lost consciousness and then drowned. She had a cyst or possibly a tumour developing so perhaps this quick death my have spared her some suffering in the future."

CTimblin (UAV Lost Dog Search - Devon)
We have been in touch with Charlie’s owners and the hotel and have been told by the hotel that they will NOT ALLOW any drone to be used on the island to search.
We have to respect the hotels privacy and abide by regulations. Again, there will too many people on the beaches and visiting the island to conduct any UK type of search by drone even if we could get permission during the day.

Link & poster image added to DogLost Devon and main thread on Plymouth (UK ) pets lost & found.
Lots of advice already given on main FB thread and via pm by UAV Lost Dog Search but will also send standard advice sheets.
Drone search ruled out due to heavily used beach area and Helipad.
Paddle boarders were out yesterday searching rocks around island.
