- She’s reunited - quote
“SAFE - ANNIE a Romanian rescue, escaped her temporary foster home in Clifton, Nottingham on 8th July 2018. She spent the next 5 and a half weeks ‘on the run’ crossing two busy main roads daily in order to access food and water. She evaded capture being particularly nervous and things were made extremely difficult following the theft of our trail camera which was being used to monitor her feeding times. Concerns were raised following a near rta on the main road yesterday and so the decision was made to sit and wait in the hope that our mapping theories would prove true and our chosen spotter positions would identify her route timing. Annie was spotted making attempts to cross the main road at around 11.30pm. By midnight she arrived to feed and was quickly sedated using a gps transmitter dart. We are all relieved that she is no longer at risk and safely back in the care of her rescue. We would like to express special thanks to Emma Bernard, Kelly Clark and Sadie Utton for their assistance on the ground.” - 2018-08-15 19:44 JEAN
