- When house cats "Escape" they tend to hide close by their owqn homes as a rule. And they will feel very anxious being out of their comfort zone, which is indoors with people they trust; their owners. a door Gizmo has access to, open wide, and stand aside (Don`t block his entrance) Put some tuna, or chicken in his dish, an place it about twice the width of the open door. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave this about 2 metres from the open door. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, espcially those with children, as they can be very obsrervant. When you see him approach (Hopefully you will)_ act as though him going awol has not been an issue, meaning don`t try to grab him, or he may go awol again. Remember to check ALL outbuildings; neighbours too. Paws xd, Gizmo is home very soon. Last edited: 2018-07-10 13:30:51

- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
