Great appeal for these 3 in local Leigh Reporter, guess it was to late to remove from print, Paper states Billy was found outside a care home on Grizedale drive Ince. Might be worth contacting Leigh Reporter to see if they will do a follow up on were the other two were found and ask them to help in locating other missing dogs from nearby area. WHISKEY(westie)WN2, HENRY(newfoundland)WN6, MONTY(pomeranian)WN2. They could also include a mention for Dog Lost and comments on the New Dog Laws and whom local people can now contact with regards to stray & lost dogs especially out of council hours.

Someone kindly returned Bess late yesterday evening so home safe and sound. Needless to say the owner is absolutely over the moon!

Considering the breed of these dogs, think it would be wise to poster as many gun shops & fishing shops as poss. If someone is going to try and work these dogs would probably be in areas frequented by people into fishing & shooting who could keep their eyes out and ears open. Same goes for all working breeds that have been stolen.

Hello Janey, I don't want to take up space on here debating about this but just to say, you are not understanding my point, it is a well known fact that it is not wise to put your dogs name on their tag as a thief will find that info a great advantage to them when trying to sell a dog as the dog will be responsive to it and the buyer wouldn't be suspicious, it is a shame that we have to be so cautious these days but I am not giving those sort of details to anyone about my dog!!

Hi,,,everyone needs to know their name on here,,in case you see them,they will come easily if its their name your calling?? mine is tagged with his name,number and that he is also chipped,anyone can still change their name i dont see the difference,hope they are found,,disgrace what these people will do!

Hello, I am so sorry to hear of your loss, I cannot understand people who do this, my puppy 'Boo' was stolen from us in a burglary on the 22nd March and we are still searching - posters are the key - get as many as you can out there - Get the dogs 'too hot to handle' thats what people have told me to do !! Hope these little sweethearts are found very soon, just a thought though, if they have been taken, is it right to put their names on here, we are told not to put names on tags so if they are stolen people are less able to be convincing when trying to pass these dogs on as their own

i live in wigan i will print a few posters of and put them in local vets tommorrow one of these vets is 5mins away from a travellers site and 5mins from junc 25 of the m6 not that far from warrington,hope these dogs are reuninted with there owners very soon ,do you know if you can see the scars on the bitches from spay
