MABEL HAS BEEN FOUND!! She had been apparently living in fields all this time, surviving on berries and birds. When the crops were harvested she was sighted by a gentleman who knew she was missing thanks to the continued work of the adopter and volunteers to keep the word out there. Original fosterer went to scene and managed to tempt her with food until she was caught. Vet checked and all well apart from a couple of ticks and some weight loss. So thrilled that she survived all this time. Thanks to everyone who helped search and poster. Last edited: 2018-08-11 09:53:22 by Butternut

Great that there was a possible sighting. We had a long walk around Seaborough area at dusk last night but nothing to see I’m afraid. Good that the men working on the pylons will be aware and may see her. We will keep looking.

Possible sighting last night in a field near Seaborough, this is approximately 2 miles from the last sighting so looks like Mabel is still on the move. There is a great team in the area so please keep calling in further sightings to the poster numbers giving location and direction she is going. Bumping due to sighting.

Just put up some extra posters around Misterton area,( although I have seen plenty around a wide area) including Pattimores transport who said they would inform their drivers. Went up to Henley manor as I thought they may be a major landowner but nobody around to ask. Had a walk around the back of the station into field area and M village hall and gently called.

The owner believes the original sighting (Memorial Avenue) was unlikely to have been Mabel. So now we think she headed from Seaborough View towards South Street and the railways station.

Team Mabel were lucky enough to have a local drone pilot help today but with the night of the crops it was not possible to locate her. Sightings still needed please.

Thanks Jasper for helping, Network rail have been contacted just as a precaution, every bit of advice given is being followed, we just need that sighting to know where everyone helping needs to be.

Nothing since the day she went missing, sadly. Thank you so much for helping to look Jasper.

Has there been any other sightings of Mabel please? We walked the hillside area between the railway lines and Kithill with the dog last night, which is quite a good view point but no luck I’m afraid. Had a drive around at dusk also and saw the posters. Hope she will show herself soon.

She escaped from Seaborough View then headed down Kit Hill and onto South Street heading towards Misterton. Was seen near the station heading towards Misterton at 5.30pm then apparently seen again Memorial avenue at 7.30pm. Last edited: 2018-07-12 08:51:26 by Butternut
