This Hound from the Pound boy has been caught safely early this morning by one of the Doglost team after only arriving at his location a few hours before. He is well despite being out since mid June but will be vet checked today. Many thanks to all concerned.

Could he not even be lured by a bitch on heat?

Please do not make any sightings or new locations public on FB. Finn has been traced and chased several times by one particular member of the public. Most recently, this person's actions caused Finn to run and not settle again until 7-10 miles away.
Finn is essentially partly feral and will not be captured easily even by professional methods. He clears 6 ft fences easily and has bolted long distances when spooked.
This is a specialist case both volunteers and members of the public are being asked to not assist with other than by reporting sightings.

Thank you. Last edited: 2018-07-15 18:42:27
