- Thank you everyone for your kinds wishes, you have been super helpful and amazing.
Minka is actually desperate to get out again, but we're keeping her in just for now till she settles. She's been crying, wailing and yelping all night, so we think it's for the best. She is a little terror for sure! :-) xxx - 2018-07-19 09:43 Captain

- Minka is at home! She was found in a neighbors house who was away on holidays for the last two weeks, nobody knows how she got in but she thinks Minka sneaked in when her mother came around. She is ravenous and quite confused, but will be ok. And will probably be grounded for a while. Thank you so much everybody! I appreciate your help, kindness and support. xx

- This is why I wouldn`t recommend pouting food into cat traps because of other animals etc. Kepo us posted x

- Thank you Janie, I shall do that. We put out sardines last night but those were eaten by the local seagulls, will put tuna out tonight. Her litter box is out together with our used clothes, but I think hiring a cat trap is a good idea too. And definitely rubbing the fence, gates etc. with her scents is a good idea too. Thank you so much.
I took that phone call for what it was, a cruel prank. But I called the local council and no dead cats have been reported. The lady was very helpful, took Minka's description and my phone number and said she'd keep an eye on any reports coming. - 2018-07-17 21:19 Unknown
- i would put some tuna, or warm chicken in her dish, and call her. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe her scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Consider borrowing a cat trap from an animal rescue centre, or Cat Protection, for a small donation I think. Place inside an object wtih her scent on; your scent too. and place it in your garden. I wouldn`t put any food in because of other cats. Paws xd.
Ignore that idiot. Not worth your blood prrssure - 2018-07-17 18:30 Slavka C.
- That's very true Jenkins, I took it for what it was, a cruel joke. I know there are plenty of people who care and I am hopeful. Thank you for your kind words. x

- Slavka C - so sorry to hear that - unfortunately this is a sign of the times we are living in - there are lots of very sick people out there but there are also lots more people who care. Don't lose hope - it's early days and cats can go off for several days and then return out of the blue x x

- I received a phone call from a private number that sounded like a teenage boy, saying he found Minka but it wasn't good news as she was under a car, dead. I asked where he was so I could go and check whether it was her and he hung up. That's a pretty sick joke and quite sad that someone would want to do that.

- Minka was apparently seen yesterday hiding under a BBQ and ran across the same garden this morning, in the corner of Crozier Crescent/Eardley Place. There's loads of trees and bushes behind those properties, so I'm going to check and try to entice her with Dreamies. She's not a huntress so will be getting hungry, so I am hoping she'll cave in.
