someone should complain because they do have to take them in to a safe place. next year the liability changes to the councils ie dog wardens but for now the police will take them to nearest police dog kennel and advise dog warden. They are given water, kennel, biccys. Dog warden will retrieve dog when able and a log is created (at the beginning of course!)so if the owner rings they can advise which local kennel the dog has been taken to by the dog warden. hope that makes sense :)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Welcome home PATSY well we are not going to get the police to do anything for dogs now they are not going to keep them for the rescues or dog warden to pick them up. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hope that Patsy is soon located - I am really cross that the police did not offer to call the dog warden when a minor is trying to hand a lost dog in, so much for duty of care - I know that the police are no longer responsible but common sense should have prevailed in this case. Bobtails in MK are wishing a speedy homecoming.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
