Brilliant news to see AAron is safely in his new home. Excellent team work by everyone. I've seen Affies run and boy can they run, spoken to owners who are frightened to let them off the lead as they will run off. Good luck in your new home AAron with Lorna, Peter, Phantom and Shadow. Well Done & some fantastic team work. Maybe a harness & training line would be useful at least for a little while.& a tag to go with it. He looks stunning xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just to say a big pulbic thank you to Lorna and Peter for letting us know he was missing, that phone call must have taken some doing but because you did we could call upon all the resources available to us and between us we got him safely back home. Of course I can't forget my own superhero, (the puppies are named after comic book hero's), my Les, you're a star as it's usually me who's the one with the determination (stupidity?) to "go 'til I " when something needs doing - Thank you for loving me and our dogs to pull out all the stops xxxx I don't want you to feel bad about this Lorna and I know the boys have the best home ever and will be loved and looked after for the rest of their lives. It's our belief that when you choose to breed a litter of puppies you choose to give them life and by doing so you also take on the responsibility of being there for them until the day they have to leave us, no matter what they've done and no matter where they are so rest assured we'll always be there for them no matter what and only a phone call away. Enjoy them now the 2 of you and get some rest! Love from all at Kalaztra xxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Shadow is now bouncing around the house as if nothing had happened. The rest of us have the scars to show something did!!! Thank you to all of you for all your help and especially Danehaven - when he's finally allowed out of the doghouse (ha ha!) we'll pay you a visit so he can thank you in person. Thank you all again - Peter and I can repay the favour for one of you some day (if you're unlucky enough to be in this situation which I sincerely hope none of you ever are). Lots of love Lorna, Peter, Phantom and his reunited brother Shadow.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have an exact location for him now, he's in the woods between Pewit Farm and Hooly Heath Farm running between garden plantation and blackwater plantation. There's a dismantled railway line running through the woods and it just before Bute going towards "little London" and Corpusty and going towards Thurning, hope I got this right?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Please note his "pet" name is Shadow. T hey located him in a farmyard and managed to get him in a pen but he lept out so by now he is totally freeked out. One of our breed people has 3 people with affies and one peron who has whippets only half an hour away so they are heading to help find him. Thank god for dog people that's all I can say. I hope and pray so but these dogs are so fast (even the young one's) and he's obviously spooked by the whole experience. At least the area where he is is rural with fields and trees and at least also he's heading back to one place and not moving on. It's been a long night I can tell you! Some good news my other half Les got there first light this morning and they've been looking ever since and then a lady with dogs was waving at him and he was stood there "talking" to her dogs but then legged it back into the woods. At least we know he's there and not gone miles away that was the bestest news!! They're taking his brother now to hopefully coax him out of the woods because the woods are full of brambles etc and not really clear enough for a person to walk in. Of course after his experience he's totally spooked but at least he's talking to people with dogs so there's a chance.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
