we also think somebody may be keeping bosley he is a very freindy cuddly dog.when we first started to put posters up they where being taken down just as fast.two of my grandchildern go to the local school.all the childeren know he is missing also the mums on the school run.thanks again for your support its a big help.x

Hi bosleys ma and pa. Good to hear from you. Sorry there's no new on Bosley. Are you regulalrly checking your local rescue centres, vets etc? It would also be a good idea to see if you can enrol the help of any local school children - they love to get involved and you'd have hundreds more eyes looking out for him. I'm convinced someone has taken him in and either hasn't seen your posters or just doesn't want to give him up. It is SO important that you get the word out there that he's missing. Hopefully the posters I helped put up at Black Park are still there. Will keep a look out for him over Wycombe/Beaconsfield way xx

so sorry not very good with a pc.has taken us all this time to work out how to send reply to you all.we have had no news of our bosley but would like to say a big big thankyou to all who have helped look for him.our lives are not the same without him.we are still putting up posters but have have not heard a thing.

Does anyone know if Bosley's owners have internet access? We really do need them to keep us updated. Also wondered if they have asked neighbours to check sheds, outbuildings etc. Could he perhaps be holed up in someone's garden who's on holiday?

I went and took down the remaining individual posters tonight in preparation for tomrrow's multiple posters.. Is there a rule about postering in Black Park, I put up quite a few and only found 2 to take down? Yes the carpark does close early, so if you can, find somewhere outside of the park to park. You know what i mean! I will PM my mobile no so is you can't find us, then call. i will be in a silver landrover with a black lab puppy.

Please please please can dog owners tag and chip their pets, it will save a lot of heartbreak for them and distress for the pets. It breaks my heart when I see how many go missing.

I think we should group round and get as many Dog lost Helpers as we can - and your doggies if you so wish - to come along and meet in Black park. that way, we can blitz the place with posters, gather some local knowledge, chat about action plans to get these pups back , and if all else fails, have a nice walk in the country side. Kbsaff & I are trying to arrange meet in Black Park, which I also have to find, re Boo SL6, so perhaps we can combine the two. Just hope search party isn't needed to find me lol!

So sorry to hear Bosley is missing. First & foremost poster like mad print off 100+, poster everywhere so that everyone knows Bosley is missing put posters up in Shops, Pubs, Scrap Yards outside Travellers Camps, Parks and hand out posters to dog walkers as well. To give them better protection against the weather, buy a bumper pack of the punched pockets (often the supermarkets do the best deals), put the posters in so that the opening is at the bottom (you can also seal the opening with waterproof, clear tape). Speak to the local postmen and visit your local sorting office and ask them to display a poster. Also try to 'collar' the local milkman and ask them to keep a poster of Bosley to hand. Pubs are good places to target. Try to visit them early lunchtime or early in the evening when they tend to be less busy and ask the manager to display a poster of Bosley. Speak to as many of the regulars/customers as possible as they will have plenty of good contacts and will be a mine of information. Display Bosley's poster in your car(s) and ask family, friends, neighbours, other regular dog walkers and work colleagues to do the same. If you have access to the Internet, make sure you register (click here at the bottom of this page) and please post regular updates so that other Helpers in your area know where you have covered so that they can target other places. Click on the Info Centre opposite under Dolly?s Directive lots of info to get you started. Good luck x

I've just emailed posters to: Stokenchurch Dog Rescue, Chiltern Dog Rescue, Binfield Dog Rescue, Battersea Old Windsor, Dogs Trust Newbury, Dogs Trust Harefield, Mayhew Animal Home, Hounslow Animal Welfare, RSPCA Hillingdon.
