They picked her up 28th July I phoned the main out station myself hun, and they called me back today and it’s what the police passed me on to, chips been scanned. I could have went tonight but husband was working and my cars broken so couldn’t get there I arranged Monday at 10 o’clock and they’ve emailed me all details xx

I’ve just read that, the owner seems convinced it is his little dog sadly. He also stated that his dog was stolen from his car. Just devastating for him.

On owner's page - Had a phone call to pick up her body Monday and then she’s being cremated Tuesday x We will know by then if it is definitely Princess.

It was not a hoax call. It was a genuine call from a police officer who was following protocol. We are trying very hard to find out if it was Princess. I advised to keep sharing in case the deceased dog turned out not to be Princess.

Charlottemarie1993 - so sorry that you have not been able to confirm with the Highways. As I stated below, it is possible that the call was a hoax call but on the other hand it may not so I would suggest that you keep phoning them until you get an answer. Really sorry that you don't have definite answers yet x

Thanks for the update Wokingham Dog Owner. I followed that link through to the owner's page which states that he has just been informed that the Highways Department have Princess body. I am hoping this is not a hoax call as he said the woman who called said to keep sharing Princess posts (why?). Will not change status until confirmed by the owner.

Requested updating DL, updates from Police, which vets, rescues, Wardens contacted etc and locals available to help but all comments across many posts/threads still unanswered/removed.

I saw some earlier facebook posts regarding this missing dog stating that she was tied up at the Service Station and stolen. Please can owner confirm the circumstances and if this is what happened, please email the crime reference number to stolen@doglost.co.uk to have the status changed. Really hope that Princess Tabbert Smith is found safely x
