We were up at 4am tolling the streets with owner and were so relieved when she was found, the trail had gone cold yesterday afternoon after several hours of just missing sightings of her. Shes home lying up side down on the sofa with a pile of sausages !!! We'd covered 574 miles in the area over 4 days of looking. Good look to all others who where in our situation, don't give up hope and best wishes

Owner was camping out in the area of the sightings and she was sighted at a nearby industrial estate-they phoned the dog warden who phoned owner who got straight around there to find her laid down by a skip with sore paws-now back home and sleeping.

Just got in from work and logged on to see where to look today but well chuffed to see not necessary! Where was she eventually caught and was it the dog warden who finally cornered her or a helper? Bet you are over the moon to get her back!

Good news!! Ginny has been found and returned home :D Thank you everyone for your help and support. She is a little tired and thirsty but has obviously been finding somewhere to eat.

Dont shout her if seen, stay calm, talk to her but dont stare at her. Look down or away from her, cook up some liver or take tim sardines with you. Sounds crazy I know but smelly found gets there attention, fingers crossed she will be home soon. At least it's out of season around Clevelleys & Blackpool at the minute. Remember to plot the sightings- most missing dogs will travel in a triangle- working it out is key to getting ahead of them. Good Luck

If she was seen at Farmer Parr's she is in Fleetwood rather than Blackpool. She has covered a long distance.

she has been seen at farmer pars this morning so is heading back towards home, last sighting was in cleveleys. Hopefully she will be back home very soon. Regular sightings are coming in now - its looking very hopeful :D

Just got back from Amounderness Way, she had been sighted again a couple of hours ago at the garden centre but there was no sign when I got there. The Dog Warden is aware and is looking out for her, but the area has a lot of open fields with small copses where she could lay low so hopefully she will stay in the area and if it could be covered with posters she is such a visible dog that she should be caught soon.

I have just heard that she was seen this morning at 8am this morning on Amounderness Way holding up traffic, which could mean she is heading back towards Blackpool, I will be able to get my dogs to that area tomorrow afternoon if she is still at large, hopefully the police would have been called if she was affecting traffic and she might already be in custody? Please let us know

We have had a a reported sighting. She has been seen in the car park at the River Wyre Pub in Fleetwood! A fair distance now from Blackpool.

Thank you for the numbers. Today I have called Elswick, Sundown, Tresha and eastliegh Kennels. (I think thats how they are spelt. ) The RSPCA, PDSA and dog warden. A small group of borzoi owners are walking the beaches and dunes today hoping for another sighting. Taking dogs she knows well. If any one can think of anyone else to call please let me know.

Hubby not now in work till saturday, if Ginny not home before then will give him Posters to take to work in Kirkham. Have friends in Blackpool will ask them to keep eyes open for her. Stay save Ginny

From another lost dog in Blackpool: Owner try Sundown Kennels - 01253 884183, PDSA - 01253 838585, dogwarden - 01253 477477 Would recomend the vets on St Annes Road nr Palatine High school as they will put up posters - East Leigh animal rescue on border of St Annes/Blackpool will also do so Will do what I can when I am in the area on Wednesday - which part of Highfield Road did the dog go missing from?
