checkout bbc radio cumbria fb.......a white grey staff/ bulldog type has been found deceased in a suitcase . It does say microchip revealed "she" was called Cody.....but could be typo & meant "HE"..

Hi James. There is a retired Detective Inspector called Colin Butcher who is now a Pet Detective. He resides in Surrey (So not too far from you). He has had many successes finding LOST and STOLEN dogs. He also owns a Cocker Spaniel named Molly who is very focused, Plus she is the only Cat Detector dog in the UK. I don`t know the cost, but he is wiling to give advice over the phone. And he was also involved with animals whilst in the police force.

I have seen the emotional interview with Cody`s owner James on Utube. Re: Breakfast TV.
Cody has helped James turn his life around, such as coming off drugs.Well done Cody. . James is offering £1000 of his own money for the safe return of his friend. So if anyone has any idea of where Cody might be, no matter how small or insignificant you think it is. Please contact the owner on the above number, or if you prefer, contact Doglost. It will be treated in he strictest of confidences. Maybe you have seen someone with a dog that resembles Cody; that person may have bought Cody off someone in good faith. Someone must know where Cody is.

Blue staffy on K9 search uk dog alerts west midlands. not a very good photo but there is white on the chest that is similar to your dog. it says it has been scanned but the info is out of date there number is 07988 433187. I know its out of your area but worth a phone call to check the chip info with them good luck.

I have just seen a dog in the TW12 area that looks like Cody.
The owner said he paid £150 for him 3 days ago on Spok(whatever that is) . I can't be 100% but the white mark on the chest is a sign it may be Cody.
He is being well cared for. The boy I spoke to was called Jerry.
They live in Dean Rd, Hampton.

Update: I have just checked on MEDWAY Facebook page & a Lady has claimed that the Dog many of us thought & hoped would be Cody, is Her BUSTER {I hope the chip can be updated &/or a chip implanted - what would worried owner have done after the 7 days?!)

We have some update, seems that some people around cockforsters road saw him with some Turkish boy around 8pm and around 10.30 has been seen running around alone. We are covering the area right now

Hey everyone, Cody has been missing since Thursday and we have extorted all options - all bar hitting the road with a small army and spreading the word.
The plan is to meet at Cockfosters at 4.30pm. All hands on deck. We will have heaps of flyers printed and want to cover as vast an area as possible - if we can split off into teams of two we can flood the area with posters and hopefully help get Cody home.
We need all possible help to bring the boy home.

James Firsht - I see you say the tel no linked to microchip is not operative - if the dog is owned by you, best to call microchip company and register the correct 'phone number right away - what if someone picks up Cody and scans him but can't get through to an owner - worst case scenario, they might keep him or rehome him. Also, need to tell microchip company he is missing.
