- Hi Sharon, not him - not light enough in colour and the gumtree advert is Swansea based.
Oliver is more of a blonde ginger colour with white paws and a white chin and bib.
Thank you anyway - 2018-08-14 01:10 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer

- As Oliver has dementia, he has obviously got lost, and disorientated. Try these tips.
A door he has access to, open wide, and stand aside, (Don`t block his entrance) Or he may see it as a "Threat". Put some tuna , or chicken in his dish,. and place it about twice the width of the open door. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave about 2 metres from the door. Check ALL outbuildings, in case shut in somewhere. Bearing in mind that it`s the holiday season, he could have crept into a house whilst the occupants were putting cases into their car, and is shut in. Cats can survive without food for quite a length of time. They lick on relevant items to keep themselves hydrated. Wipe his scent on garden fences, gates, doors too: anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy, as it may attract his attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him. That would be my best guess. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. I would also hand out posters in the street too. Is there a local paper, in your area, where you could post a LOST CAT ad? Is there a local radio station, where you maybe able to put an appeal out? Indoor cats usually feel very anxious being out of their comfort zone which is in their own homes with people they trust: their owners. They also tend to hide close by their own home. Oliver may have sought refuge in someone`s garden, and is being fed by someone who thinks he is a stray. Very common occurrence .Check behind hedges too. Hope Oliver is home very soon.
