FOUND! He was picked up by people, and they were literally heading to the vet at the end of my road as I was driving back.... they had picked him up at 11pm last night and kept him till this morning to take to the vet. Thank you all for your kindness, well wishing and support!!!

I have messaged with the poster on the Seaford board she thought the dog looked more like Nina but could not be sure. I am going over their to have a little look. I have asked her to take down her post as we don't want people searching for Nina

Which part of Polegate does Scooter live
Kamal
No he has never broken down a fence before... it was pretty well secured, nailed to a main post, and also had loads of items stacked against it. So he would have had to be in a real state... would have def only been him. I have checked with local houses etc....thanks for advice... really appreciate the support!
Mary
Kamal has Scooter broken down the fence before or could it have been done by someone else or was he perhaps frightened by the thunder. Collie's are good at finding there own way home, so make sure he can back into the garden. Leave some bedding in a shaded position for him. Get as many posters up in the local area as possible. Put posters through doors asking neighbours to check their gardens and out buildings etc. I do hope Scooter is found very soon.

Shared hope he is found quickly

could be of interest this was posted on Seaford Notice Board about 5 mins ago " Just seen a loose dog run along the pavement outside Dean’s place and then across the road and up the drive to Alfriston Campsite. It was hard to tell but I think it was small/ medium sized and black and white in colour."
