Well done Susha! Incredible that the men who had Billy chose to stop your car and offer him to you for sale even more incredible when you then recieved the doglost e mail alert and were able to contact owner with an area to be looking in. Great thanks to you for driving around the area and finding the vehicle-no thanks to the police who did not act on the info given. Well done to the owner who staked out the property and asked questions that eventually led to the safe recovery of Billy, last but not least well done to owners daughter for going on to the internet to help find Billy-so glad we were able to deliver. Doglost helpers have done it again!!!! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank GOD. Your story is my worst, worst nightmare. Welcome back Billy. Admin can we have him in the blue?? Dont forget to make a bonfire of all your posters, or scrawl a big "found, thank you" on the ones in shops for a day or two before taking them down so the next missing dog is taken seriously for as long as it takes. x ps did you find your car or were you too busy with Billy to care?????Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just to let you all know that Billy was reunited with us late last night (after alot of well worth running around). Our thanks to Those who sighted him at Keepers pond and the lady who was in contact with us all day yesterday helping and directing us without her we would never have found him. Billy was being very well looked after by a family but without this web site I don't think that we would have got him back. Our thanks go to you all and the family who looked after Billy. Billy is home safe now although a little bemused to begin with as soon as we pulled on to the drive he knew where he was. Our thanks to you allLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have sent details of the possible sighting to Brecon Beacons National Park Authority - Keeper's Pond, Blaenavon. Hope Billy is home soonLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I'm sure I saw Billy in the back of a burgandy van in near the Keeper's Pond car park, Blaenavon, on Monday evening. We were flagged down by the driver and asked if we recognised the dog. We were told that they had found him in the car park. They offered him to us for ?20 but I had no money with me. If anyone else was in that area and saw the van and can provide any other info, reg. number or description, would be great. One of those moments I'll always regret.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
