- So sorry to hear Colin is missing. Some more info for you, which may help. Please poster like mad print off 100+, poster everywhere so that everyone knows Colin is missing put posters up in Shops, Pubs, Scrap Yards outside Travellers Camps, Parks and hand out posters to dog walkers as well. To give them better protection against the weather, use punched pockets put the posters in so that the opening is at the bottom (you can also seal the opening with waterproof, clear tape). Speak to the local postmen and visit your local sorting office and ask them to display a poster. Also try to 'collar' the local milkman and ask them to keep a poster of Colin to hand. Pubs are good places to target. Try to visit them early lunchtime or early in the evening when they tend to be less busy and ask the manager to display a poster of Colin. Speak to as many of the regulars/customers as possible as they will have plenty of good contacts and will be a mine of information. Display Colin's poster in your car(s) and ask family, friends, neighbours, other regular dog walkers and work colleagues to do the same. Please do contact other owner(s) of missing dogs as you can support each other and poster a wider area.Trigger http://doglost.co.uk/forum.asp?ID=13150.Please make sure you register (click here at the bottom of this page) and post regular updates so that the other Helpers in your area know where & what you have covered. Click on the Useful Links opposite above Dolly?s Directive, lots of info there. Good luck.x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- 6 swarthy looking guys made their way into the kennels when staff were busy and were looking at Colin-they were soon asked to leave by staff who pointed out the notices saying no one could enter unattended they shrugged and said they could not read-this was caught on CCTV. later that evening the kennels was broken into and Colin was stolen.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- As the holiday season approaches please remember the many caravan and camping sites that there are in the area. From my own experience one of the best places to look for sites is UKCampsite.co.uk, very easy to search for places.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Yes please poochpal that would be fabulous......................also encourage your vet to scan EVERY new dog who comes through his/her door for a chip................Please make Colin too hot to handle by postering EVERYWHERE. He is a distinctive dog, and he is chipped so is easily identifiable. I will be away this week so please can you poochpal or Lynn make sure that every local Dog Warden/kennels is aware that Colin is missing? Many thanks! Owner, thanks for sending the photo in so swiftly ~ please register on site and update us how you are getting on with your search for Colin. I take it you will have informed the police and will have a crime number? Poster everywhere for Colin ~ if he has been sold on you need to make sure he is visible everywhere. Good luck!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Posters sent to Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire Gypsie Liason officers. This is happening too often round here and somebody has the info we need, if only they would come forward. I will also ask my local vet if I can start DL folder which can be in the waiting room for customers to look through while waiting.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Oh no, not another of our South West Lurchers stolen! Poster printed off and will be taken to vets surgery and entered into the Doglost folder there, where all clients can view. We get one back (Oakie) and now another one stolen. Why can't these evil parasites leave our dogs alone! Hope you are safe Colin, we will be lookng for you. Have owners got a crime number from police. Also contact your local Gypsie Liason Officer.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
