Went to kennels yesterday with dog warden to meet owner coming down fro Norfolk. Lula is in lovely condition although a bit on the tubby size ( she will be checked out in case any little Lulas on the way!!!) she has settkled back home very well going onto her bed and muching a biscuit before sleeping all night. This just shows that chips DO work-So please get your dogs chippedas you never know -it could happen to your dog- although there were further problems that the phone number was incorrectly written but we helped tracked owner down for dog warden. Updated new pictures with lulas owner dog warden and me at kennels with Lula and her new doglost frisbee as a welcome home present.. owner is happy to have her Lula back and we are all pleased we could help to reunite this dog. Just taken a phone call from my dog warden that works closely with us as she had picked upa dog with a chip but unable to trace as number not working. She gave me all the deatils and i managed to track down more numbers and phone a delighted mother who cannot believe we have found her!! Her daughter is camping and out of mobile reception so i have sent a text asking her to make contact. they have the microchip parers photos plus a CRN from police. Dog is safe in kennels till owner can get home from holday then get down to collect!! Made my day and dog warden Lorraines day as well- knowing we have tracked yet another stolen one. CJ

Sadly Staff in Meadowgreen is apparently not Lula. Message for anyone in this area, Watton Horse Sale is on this Sunday 4th May. Please be vigilant with your dogs, and look out for any suspicious vehicles/people.

I'm not sure how far this is from where Lula went missing but ....... http://www.petsearchuk.org.uk/ ....... ad reads ...... Female. About 12 months old. Tan with white to chest and feet. No collar or ID. Found alone in a ditch at in woodland walk Has been mauled and is currently receiving veterinary treatment. Contact Burton Petsearch 01283 535622 ..... I know Lula is chipped but we all know they are not always detected, worth a try?
