I know it’s a long shot, but I have seen a cocker spaniel that looks similar to molly at my local travelers site, it hasn’t been there long and is with another cocker that has been checked out with the police, maybe worth a scan? Ox18 2hw

Sadly it was confirmed based on the microchip numbers that the dog that we have in London is not Molly.

Is there anyone on this website who knows the family by any chance?
Basically me and my partner have been following this thread since Molly has disappeared hoping that she would be found.
I work at a Veterinary practice in London and we have received a call yesterday and the woman on the phone said that there were two spaniels found in SW London and asked me if I could search for possible owners in our database based on the dogs’ microchip number. Needless to say that we did not find anything on our system.
That is when she said that one of the dogs happen to be called Molly and she is a black and white cocker spaniel. She also said that her microchip number is registered with a Kent breeder still, however the number registered with the number does not work/ incorrect.

If someone on this thread knew Molly or the family very well they could let me know either if:
- Molly had a nametag at all (the dog found had a name tag saying Molly)
- how old is Molly
- her veterinary practice’s name as I would be able to call them asking for the microchip number and they would be likely to give it to me as I work for a Veterinary practice too
- or if anyone knows her microchip number I could compare the numbers that I have
- Molly’s breeder’s name in Kent as I know these dogs’ registered breeder’s name.

I know it is unlikely that it is the same Molly. But might as well try. Who knows what happened.

I called Kent police yesterday to see if they could help me, however the lady on the phone did not know, she took my number and said they would call me back, which has not happened.

I have been involved closely with the family all the way through and am still and spoke to Chris's mother only on Friday.
As much as we all want to find Molly can we also remember that this is still a very sensitive and traumatic case - not only for the family but also for the local people who are still very much looking out for Molly and following up on every clue.
Sharon - myself and the family are aware of the content of Simon's concerns as are the local police and that this has been dealt with.
I still have a scent item and have followed up and will continue to follow up on any possible sightings.

I foned the original finder who had posted on fb.she was found to be chipped by a vet and reunited with her owner by the vets.

A little concerned as have read that meat that's possibly laced with a poisonous substance was found in woods by clandon/mayford road, kent & a dog was taken to vets with possible poisoning. I know that area is a few miles away from dering woods however it's suspected the meat was left in the woods as illegal way of killing foxes and implied this has happened before in the kent area. If anyone finds anything suspicious, should report to Kent police. Info from Medway stray dogs.

We have been sent details of the dog seen straying at Throckley & the photos have been enhanced, the dog at Throckley has solid black on feet and a dark black spot above the nostril so is not Molly. We have added an extra photo which has now been cropped (Thanks Buddy) to show Molly's full body x

Sadly, a body of a dog was retrieved from the bottom of the White Cliffs in Dover last Wednesday. The H M Coastguard searched for the possible body of a human as well, but I don't think one was retrieved, just sadly that of a dog. Is it possible that poor Molly could have travelled as far as Dover?

We are continuing to seek for help from residents and dog walkers to help find a vulnerable missing man from #Headcorn.

Christopher Fisher (known as Chris), who is 31-years-old, was reported missing at around 6pm on Thursday 9 August 2018. He was last believed to be in or around Dering Woods near Pluckley in the Ashford district.


Chief Inspector Mark Hedges said: ‘We are asking residents in Pluckley and Headcorn to check their gardens and outbuildings for any sign of Christopher and his dog. I would also request that dog walkers in these rural areas remain vigilant and call us if they spot him.


'Christopher is autistic and was distressed when he went missing. If you see him, please call us and do not approach him because it will scare him and cause him more distress.


'He was reported to be wearing dark trousers and either a blue rain coat or a navy blue zip-up hooded top. He had his black and white Spaniel dog called Molly(pictured) with him.

'Prior to being reported missing, he was driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa, which has since been located, but we are keen to hear from anyone who might remember seeing him in the car on 9 August.

'We remain concerned for Christopher’s welfare and are keen to reunite him with his family as quickly as possible.’

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (133099)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
• If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
• If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
• Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
