- Hi, yes I would think this would be the most likely explanation. CCTV is likely to have picked up those who stole Callie & the investigation will still be pursued x
- 2018-08-16 20:23 #stoppettheft
- ohhh,the 'finders ' are unknown ?
She was Dumped ?!
Made too hot then abandoned ?
is the Reg Plate known plz ?

- I saw this good news on Facebook, earlier.
Benefit of the doubt,as to WHY Callie was taken SO FAR from where Found :
the Finders were visiting the area when they 'came across 'Callie - but didn't have time to call at a Vet etc. (maybe it was out of working hours !?)
maybe they didn't know that the LAW insists that Finders REPORT a Found Dog to a DOG WARDEN ?!
We would all love to know WHY wouldn't we ?!
Welcome Home Callie xx
Stay very Safe now gorgeous girl xLast edited: 2018-08-16 20:18:51 by #stoppettheft - 2018-08-16 19:43 Skywalker99
- I just don't get the mentality of someone who sees a loose dog and takes it, only to dump it miles away from home. Glad she is home.

- Really pleased she has been found. Don't know what these morons get out of stealing & dumping a dog miles from home. Thankfully she's safe X

- The industrial estate is at the back of our home. The spinney next to us has access to the industrial estate, as do holes in the hedges.

- Hi Chappers, initially her family thought she possibly had been picked up as a car was seen to stop briefly at the time she went missing, they couldnt be certain though so it was unclear if she was straying still or had been picked up, when she wasnt handed in yesterday she was reported as possibly stolen to the police. Overnight a witness came forward who had seen Callie being picked up on the industrial estate x

- Hi - Originally she was missing from the estate we live on and we thought she was picked up by a Grey Golf as previously advised. Since then we have had a witness who has confirmed a location seen and a vehicle and the new details that have been updated on here and on Facebook feeds from myself and my partner. Unfortunately the posters applied around the area will have the original information on; however the Contact details remain the same that are listed on the poster and she has still been Stolen. Thanks

- There seems to be some confusion as to whether she was picked up close by in a car or near an industrial estate by van. Shared

- Callie escaped from her home yesterday when the door was opened, although her family were right behind her she appeared to vanish. A vehicle was seen to stop briefly in the area & may have picked Callie up, it could be that she was kept safe overnight & handed in this morning somewhere safe, her family are currently calling all local wardens, holding kennels & vets and if she has not been handed in they will report her as possibly stolen to the police x
