so very sorry to hear your sad news you must be truly devastated. My heart goes out to you. Run free dear Murphy over the bridge. I stood by your bed last night I came to have a peep. I could see that you were crying you found it hard to sleep. I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear, "It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, and I?m here. I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea, you were thinking of the many times, your hands reached down to me. I was with you at the shops today your arms were getting sore I longed to take your parcels I wish I could do more. I was with you at my grave today you tend it with such care. I want to re-assure you, that I'm not lying there. I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key. I gently put my paw on you I smiled and said, "It?s me." You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair. I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there. It's possible for me, to be so near you everyday. To say to you with certainty, "I never went away." You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew...in the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you. The day is over... I smile and watch you yawning and say "good-night, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide, I?ll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side. I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see. Be patient, live your journey out...then come home to be with me.-

I've not spoken to Joanne since last night but she did say to pass on her thanks to everyone who has been involved in helping to find him. It's devastating news as there were so many sightings of him and everyone was so full of hope that he'd be found safe and unfortunately this has happened.

I've been out with the smaller flyers this evening and pounced on everyone I saw walking around the area. I've given to all the shops to display on Riddings Road and Hayes Lane. The Sylvan pub have about 25 to pass to customers which is really good of them! I spoke to Jo before and she is extremely greatful for all the help her and Derek are receiving and passes on a huge thank you to all. I'll get out later in the week with the larger posters to stick up on lamp posts etc.

Posters put up around the Leigh dogs home area on Saturday and everyone on our Manchester walk made aware of Murphy. Am going to give a local taxi driver some flyers to hand out. Altrincham Mail sorting office is a good place to try to get a poster up too, cant get there myself today. Mandy

Murphy not at Manchester dogs home, there is a EBT in the hospital part not on view to the public, so I didn't get to see him or her but the staff have said it's colour is brindle and white. Your picture is now on the display board.

Brilliant - thanks very much! My printer is playing up at the minute so I can't print posters (all the colours are blending into one) so I'm going to have a walk down the canal this evening. I'll get posters printed asap and hand out near work. I've crossposted Murphy to Facebook so all my friends in the area are aware he's missing.

Spoke to Joanne late last night and managed to get a picture sorted, flyers have gone to the show today and will be handed out. Am doing more to take on the walk with me tomorrow. Joanne said the possible sighting was near Halfords with is close to Broadheath Retail park.

Only just spotted this, though I have a Manchester postcode Timperley is 5 minutes from me, will put the word out here and get on Unmissabull, picture would be great. We have a bully walk in Manchester on Sunday so if possible to get a picture asap I can make up some flyers and get them handed out.

Thanks Tab! Owner left me a voicemail earlier today stating there is a possible sighting near Navigation Road tram station. I work quite close to this area so will be going out at lunchtimes and evenings etc. If anybody has family that work on Broadheath Retail Park, please pass them a poster as this is also close to where Murphy went missing. If this is Murphy it seems as though he's staying along the canal area.

I can't view the link. Just spoken to owner (Joanne) and she said she's so glad she spoke to Admin this morning and is very greatful for the information she recieved. Murphy went missing from the fields near the Sylvan pub. Joanne is going to register as a helper later this evening and a photo of Murphy will be emailed over. Could any visitors to MDH please also look for Murphy as it's doubtful I can get there this weekend. However, I will be out with posters Sunday evening. x
