Really pleased for you that you have lovely Apple back home with you safe and sound. Just as a matter of interest, did she come home without her harness and extending lead? Hope she is non the worse after her adventure.
Jo
We Cannot Thank Anna, Widget and all those who looked out for Apple enough.
Truly Amazing support.

She's home!

Dear All, Still no sign of our gorgeous one-eyed girl.
Apple has a very distinctive yap and is usually very talkative so it’s possible that she may be heard if not seen.
In her previous life she lived on the streets and may have reverted to scavenging at night and hiding during the day.
Hopefully, and with huge thanks to All Lookers and Listeners.
Jo
Dear All Lookers, No sign of Apple or harness. To find pink harness or blue flexi-lead handle would be enormous relief. We have/are searching hedges and would be grateful for others to do the same. Many Thanks. x

Thanks so much Sylvia! For anyone searching, here is a link to where she was last seen. If she has been spooked though, she could be a couple of miles in any direction and hiding.

Thank you so much - we really appreciate all the help. If Apple has lost her harness she looks very much like a fox from a distance.
Sylvia
I live in the BA6 area, between Parbrook and West Pennard. I am always out for walks and will keep a watch for hopefully, a sighting of her. I won't try to approach if I see her (as you say she's spooked by strangers) but will call the telephone number given with grid reference or landmark of where I saw her.

I'm posting an update on behalf of Apple's owner as she isn't on FB. Apple went missing two days ago near Hembridge, Shepton Mallet, BA46TZ. She has a harness and flexi lead attached however extensive hedge searches in the area have so far been fruitless. She was being walked near home in fields she knows well and went after a deer. On one occasion she has done this before when offlead and quickly came back to the owner. One theory is that she came homeward later, became spooked near home and then bolted into a new area and is lying low. The other is that she is stuck somewhere. Tracker dogs have been out but unfortunately fields have been muck spread since she went missing. Track found going back to the home area however this could have been from an earlier walk with the dogsitter. Drone SAR group have been alerted and they have kindly offered to go out quickly if there is a sighting.
