So very sorry to hear this tragic news of lovely Murphy. Run free lovely boy of the Bridge. I stood by your bed last night I came to have a peep. I could see that you were crying you found it hard to sleep. I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear, "It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, and I?m here. I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea, you were thinking of the many times, your hands reached down to me. I was with you at the shops today your arms were getting sore I longed to take your parcels I wish I could do more. I was with you at my grave today you tend it with such care. I want to re-assure you, that I'm not lying there. I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key. I gently put my paw on you I smiled and said, "It?s me." You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair. I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there. It's possible for me, to be so near you everyday. To say to you with certainty, "I never went away." You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew...in the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you. The day is over... I smile and watch you yawning and say "good-night, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide, I?ll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side. I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see. Be patient, live your journey out...then come home to be with me.-

The sadness they felt whilie they were apart has turned into Joy once more in each heart, They embrace with a love that will last forever and side by side they cross over together !! So sorry to see you have been reuinted in such tragic circumstances. The railways take so many of our friends to the bridge earlier than they deserve to go. Take comfort in being reunited by the police-it was a caring thing for them to do. Murphy will be happy at the bridge with his new friends.x

I'm so sorry to hear that lovely Murphy didn't make it home. The lives of so many of our wonderful companions are lost on the railways. How I wish they could be made safer. My thoughts are with the owners at this sad time. Rest in peace dear Murphy - sweet dreams little man... x

Murphy died on the railway tracks, the police have just brought around his body. I shall let everyone know today and take down all the posters. I can't bear it - I hope he didn't suffer too much. Thank you for all your help

I've spoken to Murphy's owner and he hasn't been seen since he went missing from their garden last Friday. Owner will be ringing local vets and dog warden tomorrow. Can we have some small fliers made up please and I'll help Murphy's owner put them through doors. Owner will be registering soon so that she can keep us updated.

Does anyone know which side of High Wycombe this is? I've emailed posters to Stokenchurch Dog Rescue, Chiltern Dog Rescue, Green Meadows Kennels, Battersea Old Windsor, Dogs Trust Harefield, Blue Cross Burford, Straid Vet Clinic - Beaconsfield, Brook House Vet - Bourne End.
