Fantastic news.....welcome home Star. Had printed tonnes of posters to take to dog training this morning for people, just about to quickly print another load off and then saw the great news!! Will gladly not be needing them now. Stay safe Star, no more escaping and will see you at dog training!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi all at DogLost. Star has been found and is now safe and well at home. She was spotted yesterday afternoon crossing the road into ALDI car park and was picked up by a member of the public, who contacted us this evening. Looks like she somehow managed to escape the garden and took herself for a walk to the park. Thanks for all your concern and help. Mills family........e mail from owners.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Diane! Star is a very striking dog, she goes to the same dog training class as I do. I will print out a stack of posters and take them with me tomorrow for people to take and put up in cars, nearby area etc. When I spoke to the owner earlier, she had already rung Acres Way kennels who take Southends strays and also gave her numbers of kennels in the neighbouring boroughs just incase and advised phoning round all the vets. Now the out of hours arrangements for strays has changed and the Police have relinquished their responsibility to LAs, also advised her to call Southends out of hours number incase they had been contacted by anyone who had found Star. It is unknown if Star escaped from her garden or was taken so any help with postering the area would be great. Stay safe Star until we find you. x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have spoken to Star's owner...She lives almost opposite ALDI supermarket in Eastern Ave. She is going out now to poster Jones Memorial Ground (local Park) and Priory Park (both parks are very close to owners home) Also she will quickly call in to local Council Depo which is almost opposite her house. Just in case.. a horrible thought, but owner is realistic. Dianne.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
