- Taken to Vets4Pets in Framwellgate Moor, near Durham. No microchip found. Vets will keep him and then he will go to Stray Aid, via the Dog Warden, later today.

- Found running up the road by a chap in a van - he was working all day so could not keep him and saw us walking our dogs and asked us if he was ours. He is VERY friendly and he does not appear to have been loose for long as he was not thirsty. Will take him to the vets to be scanned as soon as they open (and will contact the dog warden). The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
