- Hope she is still local. I have been in contact with someone who cat had been missing for THREE MONTHS. Her brother found him only ten minutes away from his home. A woman had been feeding him fresh chicken every day. He is now home:-)

- I believe this is what is called a Sphynx cat? Good idea to contact police, as some pedigree cats get stolen, and sold on, Hopefully Chicken will be home very soon. Paws, and fingers xd.

- Just realized Chicken is a House cat, so try these tips too. House cats that go awol will feel very anxious being out of their comfort, which is in their own homes with people they trust; their owners. They will also tend to hide close by. A door she has access to, open wide, and stand aside. (Don`t block her entrance, or she may see it as a "Threat", and run off. Put some tuna, or chicken in her dish, and place it about twice the width of the open door. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent, and place it about twice the width of the open door. Please try tips/advice on my post 2018-8-24 08.39 too.

- If not been neutered, nay have gone seeking a mate. Check all outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars, THOROUGHLY, as some cats will hide in, or behind an object within, especially if timid. Check decking too. Empty the contents of the hoover onto the garden, as Chicken`s scent will be there. Put some tuna, or chicken in his dish, and call him: night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Place cats UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or, hang on the washing line if dyy: used towels too. Wipe Chicken` s scent on your garden fences, gates, doors tool anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy, as it may attract Chicken`s attention Walk around the area, holding an object with Chicken`s scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding your cat. (Common problem). When it`s nightfall, and you are searching, use a strong torch, as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. Consider posting a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper, in case Chicken has climbed into a vehicle. Paws xd Chicken is home soon.Last edited: 2018-08-24 08:43:05
