Great to see Roxy is back home, from red to blue in quick time. His carer must be so relieved. Would be nice to have a proper picture of Roxy if possible send it to admin@doglost.co.uk. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I live not far away from that area, will keep a look out whilst on my deliveries. I guess as this is a nervous dog it is best to make contact to doglost first as apposed to try and catch the dog. Please give suggestions to entise the dog to us... Hope he is found soon... Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to lady looking after Roxy. She was let out last night and bolted through an extreemly thick hedge and ped down several feet to garden on other side. They went round into garden but no signs. She is extreemly nervous so will need very careful approaching and would suggest sightings refered back to career. it seems she likes her food so marrowbone jelly bisciuts could be the lure to catch her. Ashford DW notified and have suggested advising maidstone DW as well. Also to alert postmen in the area and local pubs. this is a big dog- not unlike a St.Bernard or newfoundland. being nervous is a common problem in this breed. i have spoken to the Burmese mountain dog Ass of GB and they have been extreemly helpful. they are alerting everyone on their data base in this area which includes 2 breeders.
