I’m so happy to read that this handsome boy has been found. Wishing Max a speedy recovery from his time living in the wild. It’s certainly not the place for such a beautiful boy. I am so happy for Max’s owners. janiejewel1649 could be right in wondering whether he may have been chased away from his home and usual territory by a newcomer. Hoping that Max will stay close and safe in future. Xx

Unless Max wandered off by himself, he could have been chased out of his own territory by a dominant cat. (It can happen) And sometime a cat can become lost., and disorientated. There maybe a dominant cat in the area.

Further update xx

Update on Max - he’s staying in the vets overnight. He’s dehydrated, his kidneys are very swollen, he’s full of fleas and lost a lot of weight. He needs fluids, bloods and monitoring for the next 24 hours. He looks absolutely relieved to be found and was calm and relaxed when we left him. He will be being watched 24/7 when he comes home - house sitter installed!! That’ll be me 😍
A huge, huge thank you to each and every one of you for your messages and support. I have spoken to Paul and Kung and it was a very emotional call. What a night!! Vicky, Gez Heyes and Stacey - what you did tonight was unbelievable! Amazing, I can’t thank you enough! Think the drinks are on Paul 💙 #Maxishome 💙

Update from Paul Weir, who has worked so hard and never given up xx

Well after 44 days living as a wild cat our boy is now safe! I really cannot thank the community enough with this campaign. Vicky Sharrocks for being so vigilant and a massive shout out to Gez Heyes, Stacie-leigh Heyes for their determination and pure selfishness in their none stop search for Max even in our absence.... We are absolutely overjoyed at today’s news and can now breathe a sigh of relief.
This will never be forgotten!
We both look forward to catching up with you shortly!

I’m in contact with Max’s owner. They have done literally everything possible to find him. He’s been in the local paper, he’s on the local ice cream vans, posters and leaflets have all been done. Please if you are in the area, look out for him.

I have shared his poster to several groups, praying for good news soon xx
