- Could these dogs be amongst the 23 dogs that have just been found in France?
Possibly stolen from the UK. See Jayne`s Blog.Last edited: 2020-03-02 08:33:09 - 2019-11-10 20:05 Unknown

- Hi, these are not my dogs. We were walking ours and were stopped by a lady in a red car who was distraught. We managed through good Franglais to establish we're and when they had gone missing and that both had collars with her number on. We looked as long as we could but were returning to U.K later that day. I simply posted in case other DogLost members were in the area and could keep a look out as she was so upset .

- As Max says, the organisation 'chien-perdu.org' exists in France with links to 'chien-trouvé (found)' and there is also Pet Alert France and Pet Alert (department number), so where I live (an hour north of Montpellier in the south) it is Pet Alert 30, and the nearest department is 34, so it would be Pet Alert 34, etc., etc., so there must be a Pet Alert 62 and/or you could put both dogs on Pet Alert France, the general site. I look at both sites regularly and particularly find Pet Alert very good.

- There is an organisation in France called 'Chien Perdu, hopefully they will contact them.

- The region in France is department 62. This covers all the surrounding area down to the Somme. We were returning from our place nearby and met the lady on the road. The problem is it is so vast there are many, many places dog's could hide. Therer's also lots of natural food such as small rodents, rabbits, pheasants. I posted this in case anyone on holiday in the area saw two dogs of this description without an owner. The lady was absolutely distraught and although we helped her look we had to get back to the tunnel ( otherwise I'd still be looking!). Please, if you're anywhere near Touquet, Etaples, Montreuil, Hesdin just keep an eye out. Thank you. Maybe we need to start Dog list in France? Chien Perdu!

- Sorry to see these two dogs are missing. They may have found refuge in a field/farm, or the like. I would walk around the area if I were the owner, and use the same deodorant, that is used on a day to day basis, as they will recognize the scent. I would also take with them an air freshener, that is used daily in their home, as it should remind them of their home comforts. And of course keep rattling those doggie treats.. Poster around the area if possible too. Paws xd.
