Buck is home!! An amazing lady spent 1 1/2 hours following him last night and managed to catch him with her Alaskan Malamute. She rang the council, but I think there were a few communication issues, and, after her saying that she would look after him over night, no-one rang her back. One of her friends then saw one of our posters, and then she rang the police who put her in contact with me. Buck is now fast asleep, and fine, apart from a slightly cut foot. Thanks for all your help.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The guy on the phone said that I couldn't have the details, but that I should ring the police and report him stolen. I did this, but the police officer said that before she could file the report, she needed to check that the warden hadn't just got the number wrong, or the out of hours person had written it down wrong. I am going to do a lot of walking after work today at around the time that he was out. I will also have my own posters to show people out walking. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi I am Gareth's wife, Jo. Apparently, according to the dog warden, Buck has been taken in by some dog walkers who managed to catch him on West Park, Long Eaton last night. However, they didn't want Buck to go into kennels for the night, and took him home. Unfortunately, the contact details they left do not seem to be correct. As he was picked up sometime in the evening, can anyone who is in the West Park area of Long Eaton please keep a look out for him out on a walk, and ring me on 07977 931492 or Gareth on 07812184115.
