- I’ve sent a possible to your mobile. My number ends in 402. It’s a found dog on lostdogsuk.co.uk. Shows it as a Lurcher but it doesn’t look like a Lurcher. Wishing Lexi home. LouiseB x

- ONE FOUND, WORTH CHECKING OUT........Shell Hall to Missing Dogs UK
Yesterday at 07:20
Is anyone missing this dog? Found her on my street this morning in Batley. I’ve taken her to the vets to be scanned. She does have a microchip but it’s not with the provider they use. I’ve been advised by them to call the dog warden but would like the find the owner first. Now with Calder vets in Dewsbury as couldn’t keep her any longer due to cats.

- With regard to safety we mean due to the nature of the area that was searched - high cliffs, remote footpaths, fields, tidal beaches etc. Search went ahead and sadly nothing found - a drone was used to check the inaccessible areas of cliff and today a local lifeboat crew are doing exercises off the coast and will be keeping an eye out for Lexi.

- If there is concern for safety do the police need to be aware unless you refer the state of the cliffs.Thks
Would other dogs being there be useful or seen as a hinderance in looking for Lexi?Last edited: 2018-08-31 13:39:41 by MacIntosh - 2018-08-30 23:08 Unknown
- SEARCH FOR LEXI - SATURDAY 1st September - MEET FROM 10.00 AM ONWARDS FOR 10.30 AM START.
MEET AT THE ENTRANCE TO LADRAM HOLIDAY PARK (EX9 7BX) JUST ON THE LADRAM ROAD WHERE A MAP OF THE AREA WILL BE PROVIDED WITH DETAILS OF AREAS NEEDING TO BE SEARCHED AND CONTACT DETAILS NEED TO BE EXCHANGED TO ENSURE SAFETY OF THOSE HELPING.
After visiting the area today and hearing what happened and when we really do need to perform a proper search of the area sooner rather than later hence why we are suggesting Saturday morning - we appreciate this is very short notice but Lexi really needs finding and the owners cannot continue to look for her by themselves.
If anyone local to the area is able to help firstly this would be massively appreciated and secondly could you comment below stating how long you would be available for and whether anyone would be coming with you please.
Anyone who is available will need to be in pairs for safety reasons so if someone comes on their own we will pair you up with someone.
Also anyone who searches please wear suitable clothing.
Please be aware that the terrain is hilly/steep in areas and also there are some areas of woodland.
Please if you can also bring binoculars, a walking pole or something similar to help move undergrowth out of the way to look properly and also some drinking water to keep hydrated.
Please also have a fully charged mobile phone with you.
If anyone local could possibly help with printing some posters off and distributing and maybe knocking on doors to make people aware in the outlying areas that would be great as well please.
Thank you for any help it is very much appreciated. - 2018-08-30 20:53 Sue - onestopalldogs

- Sorry to see that LEXI MISSING 3 YEARS is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (133824)

- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
