News of a sighting near the Rose and Crown came in this morning resulting in Cocoa being found . She is home and a trip to the vets booked to check her over.
I am so so pleased for her family and friends and all the lovely people that have been helping to search for her.

We have come to the conclusion that the Hamworthy and Poole sightings are that of the guy that has the similar but darker dog. The sighting fit his movements and we are aware his dog is walked off lead , sometimes at quite a distance from his owner.
The search continues nearer to home

Occasional reports still coming in of Cocoa being sighted. Some in Poole high street by the railway crossing though a similar dog is known to belong to a guy who is known to sit with his cap to speak just around the corner at Sainsbury's. His dog is far smaller and is darker in colour , almost black. He is aware however and has Cocoa's owners phone number. However some have said it was definately Cocoa.
Another sighting reported back in Hamworthy by the Co Op yesterday afternoon and a further sighting of a similar looking lone dog in Lytchett Matravers where the first sighting was.
Lots of lovely people are still searching and loads of posters and flyers have been going out with more planned

Cocoa was sighted again today at apps 2.45pm , one again on Blandford Road Hamworthy. Searchers have been out since by as yet no sign. Her owner has been scenting the area and doing a BBQ tonight

Positive sighting in hamworthy again this morning (31.8) about 10.30am past the hair salon around the traffic lights opposite the hamworthy rec junction heading towards the lifting bridge towards poole

Sadly light limited searching this evening but did walk the heathland near to home and drove the roads back home in likely areas back towards Hamworthy towards Poole . The area she may be in is vast so all sightings need to be reported and the areas with sightings reported need to be postered well so anyone spotting her knows who to call

Possible sightings ..... Please can extra alerts go out in BH15 & BH14
Apparently near the red lion pub hamworthy at 1pm today and lytchett rec at 1am.

Dan, We live up the road near Naked Cross Nurseries and have been out a few times looking around fields off Rushall Lane, Waterloo Road (Corfe Mullen) the bridleway near the Holme Bush and the Heath and will do the same again tomorrow if no news. Between me and a few neighbours we’ve been mentioning Cocoa to friends, neighbours, dog owners and horse riders who will be keeping their eyes peeled too - Helen
