Hi, Me again! Today Ive faxed all the private and charity vets in the Liverpool area (listed in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Directory). ive sent through the same poster I made with both Penny and Belle's photo on and a phone number. Im hoping that if all these vets know, if they are at all suspicious about anything they have the information to call. I really hope this works. If I can do anything, you have my number - just call me. Joanne. xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, I have a friend who worked here at this hospital but now works in a practice in Cheshire and has offered to put the faxed poster up in the waiting room there. I hope this might help. Another lady at RSPCA Oldham said her friend had a pug bitch stolen from her house this week and believes it was a gang from Liverpool doing this. Might be worth looking into? Ill get you the pug rescue numbers from the Kennel Club for you today and text these to you. We have a booklet at work with all the numbers in - might be worth trying? Hi, Ive made a poster with both photos on and faxed all local vets in the Manchester area and obviously let our vets and nursing staff know about this so we are on the lookout. If we believe we have seen them here we are going to ask the 'customer' to wait while we go out the back and weigh them for worming tablets but use the opportunity to scan them. In the poster Ive said that these dogs are microchipped and that if they are scanned and there is any suspicion to please phone the owner (ive also left my mobile number). If I can do anything else please just ask. Joanne.xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Ive put posters up at my place of work (M5 postcode just down the road) as I work in a veterinary hospital. I know these people and these dogs a little (my pug boy is from the same family) and hope these girls come back really soon. This is all really sad. If I remember right there is an article in a current copy of a doggie magazine. Its the curent edition with the free sample of biscuits on the front (maybe Dog World? or Your Dog?). Anyway this article may prove useful as I remember skim reading it and its all about dogs being taken and contacts etc. My thoughts are with you. Joanne. xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Might help to report this to the police if they were 'taken' without permission.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
