- It is with a very heavy heart that we have to let you know that Bess has been found on this mornings search sadly deceased. From how she looked when she was found we would say that she passed away from natural causes.
On behalf of her owner Max we wish to let you know that he (and us) pass on heartfelt thanks to every single person who helped look for her since she went missing no matter whether that was sharing a post or physically walking the area looking for her - he is very humbled by everyones kindness to a stranger xxx

- No problem AnaGee, as we are a UK based search tema, we have hour page only visible to the Uk so could explain why you cant see the link. Thank you for sharing to your page though, very much appreciated.
- 2018-09-15 10:21 AnaGee
- No, not a member of BESS' group. Once I verified that others could open the search link, I shared it on bowhelpingdogs which I co-admin... it's a UK page but I'm in US. Can't open https://www.facebook.com/uavlostdogsearch/ either

- AnaGee, Are you a member of Bess's group on facebook. If you can give your name then I can check to see if there is any issues, but the link provided below does take you the search post where we are asking for members t let us know who is able to attend so we can allocate all the areas we need covering. You can PM us via our facebook page - UAV Lost Dog Search - if you prefer.

- How very odd AnaGee - sorry i do not know why that is. Are you coming along on Sunday? We need confirmed numbers in order to allocate search areas to people.

- Oh and by the way who said anything about the number being the issue......
- 2018-09-12 17:47 Unknown
- Thank you for the uncalled rude comment Dog Warden Ness - suggest you need to go read the guidelines on the ICO website.
- 2018-09-12 16:40 Ness
- If the mobile number is on Facebook then it is hardly confidential anymore. The number on here is not identifying as it is not linked to a name etc.
God forbid these people trying to help find his dog. - 2018-09-12 15:28 Unknown
- Ok thank you - i am in direct contact with owner every single day and he has not given consent PRIOR to this listing being put on here - how do you get around that in terms of Data Protection? It does not matter that it is all over Facebook.... that is not giving consent.... just saying.... I will now inform him that Bess is on here and yes it will help spreading the word so to speak but for future reference you really do need to review your processes otherwise it could cause problems for the future. Due to the nature of my day job i know what i am talking about.

- Post was added by area co-ordinator so guessing Selina has made contact.

- It is all over Facebook, so I would not expect the owner to object to anyone spreading the word further. I am not the poster though. I do hope she is found ok.
- 2018-09-12 15:18 Unknown
- Can i respectively ask if anyone from Doglost has been in touch with the owner of Bess prior to processing to seek his consent please?
