- Presume all outbuildings checked, THOROUGHLY at the time Lily went missing? as some cats will hide in, or behind an object within, especially if timid. Just because you don`t see a cat, doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Someone may be feeding him nearby, or in the local area, after maybe finding her in an outbuilding, like a shed for example. ( A cat I know of that was missing for THREE MONTHS, was found only ten minutes from his home by the owners brother. A woman had been feeding him fresh chicken every day)so you never know. Try putting her UNWASHED blanket into clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or nhang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe her scent on garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. When it`s nightfall, and , you are searching, use a strong torch, as the light will reflect a cats eyes. and use the same deodorant say that you use on a day to day basis, as she will recognize the scent, and your the one she trusts. And./or take with you an Air Freshener which you use regularly, as it should remind Lily of her home comforts. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too, And hand out posters to the general public, where, and when you can, and as many as you can. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. Knock on a few doors. Hope Lillybell is found very soon. Consider posting a LOST CAT ad inb a National newspaper too, in case she had climbed into a vehicle. Paws, and fingers xd. Lillybell will be home very soon. Hope her microchip works its magic.
