Wonderful news this evening, Nala has been finally been caught in a trap on MOD land and is home safe. She looks to be in very good shape but will be off to the vets for a check up tomorrow.
A particular big thank you and well done to Peter Hawkins who has supported the family and been at their side through the three weeks she has been missing and for keeping us informed along the way!

Sightings of Nala today on Clouds Hill , then on the ministry of defence land to the right of King George V Road , said to have taken shelter in one of those buildings. Sighted again by Nala's owner with another dog an Akita in the woods to the right of King George V Road, who she successfully coaxed towards her but her own dog Nala ran from her 😔. The Akita having been successfully caught had been missing for 5 hours so can be discounted from earlier sightings and is thankfully home.
Nala was sighted again within minutes ducking into bushes a little further down the road but not found

8:45am.

At this stage Nala is still missing.

We have further update of old sightings which as everyone is aware days old sightings doesn’t always help to the day you need uptodate sightings. I’m gunna be heading over to Tuesday night sightings see if she stayed the area as it’s a mile ish away from last sighting,

Family are tired and stressed and by myself been advice not to skip work or college as member the public and groups can help whilst they get on with the day to day life. Which I know isn’t easy but nala will be home and a lot public help in Bere Regis is great even to the ones not social media people.

Updating much as possible and when we can.

Nala was sighted again this morning by a farmer in their cow fields. She called the sighting in straight away and has shown the family where seen and they have been searching there but as yet she hasn't shown herself to them

Taken from the DogLost Dorset Facebook group posted last night.

Nala has actually been missing since this morning when she escaped from a relatives home where her family are staying. She was sighted at Turners Puddle this morning around 10am and this afternoon around 4pm near Throop.

Hopefully people will be out walking in the area today, if spotted call poster numbers immediately. DO NOT CHASE.
