- Thanks for update on Gingy. As for where he has been, I would imagine he has been shut in somewhere. He would have been feeling very anxious, on guard, and alert to noises, for example, and being away from you, and all thats is familiar to him. Some cats take time to get back to their old selves. (Indoor cats, especially take longer to get back to "Normal",. when they have been out of their comfort zone) . Just give Gingy time, and lots of tlc, and his favourite treats, as you are doing. I personally would keep him indoors for a day, or two. But you know you own cat. Keep us posted x Last edited: 2018-09-21 17:00:37

- Wonderful news indeed, we are delighted. Well I am asking him where has he been? what happened to him? but he only looks at me intensely with those big eyes. He is definitely scared, not his usual self. Being back home, lots of cuddles and treats would do the trick and he should come back to his old self. Gosh what a worry and an ordeal for all of us. Thank you Janie for everything, you are all a treasure. Will let you know after our visit to the vet. Wishing you a beautiful evening. Ours is going to be a blissful and restful night after all these days. :) xxx

- Wonderful news. Am so happy for you. Stay close now Gingy,:-)xxx He has probably been shut in somewhere. As for Gingy trying to scratch you he will still be feeling very anxious being out of his comfort zope, even though a short time He should be back to "Normal" in a day, or two. Hope he gets on okay at the vets. Thanks for the update, and keep us posted xLast edited: 2018-09-21 16:11:50

- Just to let everyone know that Gingy is back home, dirty, starved and a bit wild. He tried to scratch me something very unlike him. We will be taking him to the vet to be checked. Thank you all for your amazing help, advice and guidance. Thank you Jayne and all the volunteers and people who shared his profile. THANK YOU!!! :)

- Early days yet. First, check all outbuildings, including empty houses. THOROUGHLY, as some cats will hide, in., or behind an object within, especially if timid. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden, as his scent will be there. Put some tuna,. or chicken in his dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too, and also his friends UNWASHED blanket. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent, (And his friends) on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy, as it may attract his attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him. (Common problem). When it`s nightfall, and you are searching,. use a strong torch, as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and pot flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper, in case he has climbed into a vehicle. Paws xd.

- Thank you Jayne,
Gingy has been reported to the Petlog, Battersea Home and a few other sites and hopefully someone would come up with some good news. We are missing him badly and our other senior cat has become withdrawn, looking and sniffing around for his friend. :( - 2018-09-18 11:39 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
