Sable is not used to children and according to the warden who went to collect her the children were treating her as a toy which is probably why she gave one of them a nip.

If it is her then serves the woman right for keeping her. Who do these people think they are, never mind theres an owner in pieces looking for their dog. Arghhhhh!! Watching this space anyhow and hoping owners will invest in a microchip and id tag for Sable. Sue x

Just had Appledown kennels on the phone they think they have Sable-She was picked up the same day in the same area by a woman who decided to keep her but then handed her into the kennels today after she bit one of her kids! Messages left on both mobiles for the owners.

make sure you inform south beds district council they are responsible for strays and appledown kennels on 01525 220383 where the stray dogs are taken

Keep your safe during this years celebrations and fireworks, take your dogs for a walk well before parties and fireworks begin.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
