Poor Bomber. But he will be very easy to identify if seen, because of the toes. My son plays fooball on the Farm in Tottenham, so I will put up posters at the community centre. Please don't lose hope, he's out there somewhere, and is likely to be dumped if there are a lot of posters about. Helpers, we need posters up in Tottenham, Edmonton, Ponders End, Stamford Hill, Walthamstow, Seven Sisters. Up off your bums please!!!

Thanks for CCTV Number, He was actually Stolen rather than gone missing and was on his own at the time. He would have put up a struggle to a stranger invading his space. An attempt was made to steal him last year from the same area but was spotted buy a friend and recovered. Thanks again Everyone for your Efforts. All the Best Colin

hi glad you are here to tell your story ..ts nice to hear good feedback for once , ie where bomber comes from .etc .. im sure you will perhaps understand some peoples reaction on your funfair friends !!! now the air has been cleared and we now know ,we have to try to get him back, after being on this website for a long while ,and reading some stories i have ,people however may be judgemental HOWEVER im sure the owner is as gutted as any other pet owner would be i do have the telephone nos of the cctv companies at plc whch u can have ,i hope they may be able to shed some light ... do we no if bomber was alone , at the time he went missing , or ran off etc , i notice bomber is chipped so thats a good start (i take it his info will be in a mobile no etc as he has no home addy... would that be the case or any info on that would be handy to no) heres hoping we have some good news very very soon , im sure as you say peoples response may be different now ,if thats what you meant take care x here are the cctv nos 01992709814 soz only 1 no hope they may be able to track back that far x

On Poster it says: "Black with greying Terrier..." and "Black with greying on muzzle & on back" he has no grey on back and is jet black and hardly noticable greying on muzzle. And born with 3 Toes on one of back legs. Other than the wrong doglost phone number everything else is kewl. Many thanks Colin

I found one Photo that might help but it looks about 4 years younger, I have phototouched out the White (There may be a little white) and Made the coat more black, he is wider, tighter face and has a constant smile if that helps. Please let me know if you get the Photo OK All the Best Colin

Colin go onto google and images and put in greying black staffordshire bull terrier and try and find a similar dog-people will read poster with a photo but usually not if it is just writing.

At Last.... I am allowed to post a Reply and Message here, in respect to all people that are helpers there needs to be some improvements in the way how people can respond.... I have been trying since 22/04/2008 But i must say this is a Great Website and i know it must be hard to keep it upto date etc. First of all Thank you very much to Everyone that is trying to help. Will try to catch up with this email to all your replies. First of all I have to defend my friends at the fairground, these guys are the good guys and all of them very honest and caring with the public, kids and animals etc. If you lose anything there and it has been found or handed in you are very likely to get it back etc. They are really very nice people. The dog that has been stolen belongs to my friends working at the funfair. (BTW They will be in Alexandra Palace This week). The Owner has been in touch but we can?t find any photos of Bomber to post. Being sort of like nomads living on site etc. these guys have more or less given up hope finding Bomber. If I hadn?t got involved I don?t think much action would have been taken and I am really touched by the great response of you guys in such short time. Bomber is very distinct as he is very short and stubby, wide but not fat, he is jet black with a little grey on muzzle (looks a lot younger than he is) but most of all he was born with a birth defect with 3 Toes on one of the back legs. (I remember it being rear left, Owner rear right so were not 100% sure). He is a very nice character and will answer to his name and will wag his whole body instead of tail, gets out of breath quick. Can?t promise anything as its not down to me but anyone finding Bomber is likely to get free rides for life. Will check Battersea (Thanks) and thanks again for everyone that has responded. right just an update ...been over to plc on tuesday , not 1 poster in sight which i thought was strange , i did not have time to poster anyway as my son was in the centre but i did have a walk round the whole place , went to the fairground which is still there they have extended there days !!! i walked around the touring campsite there and asked a few of the people that work there nothing... the gypsy part was like a morgue not 1 person ,dog anything was very eerie brrr , they have cctv around the whole of the place with telephone nos if the owner wants the no i can pm if they want them ???? otherwise nothing to tell ..wonder if the owner has anything to post??? xxx
