Welcome home Libby and stay away from motorways in future! I hope the lorry driver is rewarded with good luck and happiness always. Not many people would have done what he did.

Welcome home lucky Girl, big well done to the lorry driver, hope she gets tag and chip now and Diane maybe we could get the lorry drivers name and address for you but DON'T FORGET THE STILETTOS, and if you are taking Katie with you dressed in her STILL-TOE-CAPS AND WAX JACKET make sure you stand her on the corner to get donations for dog lost.

Wow what a story, that kind driver saved her life, well done to him - sounds like a dog owner! Hope Libby is no worse for her ordeal and is happy to be safely home. There are heroes!

What a wonderful driver to save her from harm. Had she had a tag & chip he may even have got owners to pick her up. It's nice to see ones like this as shows people can & will work together when needed. Welcome Home Libbyx

I spoke to Libby's owner this morning and gave her all the numbers to try, inc DL, so glad she is home safe. Hope owner takes my advice and gets her chipped now.

LOL, I've just got home from work and sat down to get started on Libby but she's already home!! Great news and yes Jayne, sounds like a very lucky escape. Thanks to Mr Lorry Driver who took the time to help this girl. And great team work from the DW's to make sure that Libby made it safely back home. Take care Libby and no more playing with the traffic sweetie!!

This old girl has had a lucky escape. She was on the M42 with cars swerving around her-luckily a lorry driver helped slow down all the traffic and drove slowly next to her between the traffic until he had managed to stop all the cars and coax her to safety. She was then picked up by the highway authorities and taken to Worcester where the dog warden called the owners dogwarden and a match was made.
