Well, that might explain why I spent an hour trying to catch an Irish setter near the Westleton/Dunwich road yesterday! It had a collar but I couldn't see a tag. How irresponsible. Apart from the obvious danger to the dog, it was bothering an elderly chap who was walking his own dogs and followed him back towards Westleton. Can anything done?

"Not to worry about it" !!?? How irresponsible, lets just hope it doesn't find its way onto a road, get injured or cause an accident.

Just been in contact with somebody who lives in the area and this is what he has told me....
This dog lives in a house in the woods near Westleton, it takes itself off for walks, it followed me and my dog the other day, so I went to the house and asked and they said it's theirs and not to worry about it.

A report was made on the 2nd of January this year to Waveney District Council regarding a sighting of a Setter on Dunwich Heath, apparently there is a couple from London that have a holiday home in Dunwich and they have two Setters that do sometimes wander off and get lost in Dunwich.
I wonder if this is the same dog and the couple are on holiday here, I could be totally wrong but same breed of dog and same area...
