Clifford returned home on 29th May.  He is well but a little on the thin side. He was left tied to the gates of a rescue 3 weeks ago.   Found by a bit on information in a local magazine.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thats great news to hear his poster has reached scotland, i know the cattle dog people are all helping to try and find clifford, i will add, he is 5 years old not 3, and he is a blue speckled and picture doesnt show, but im informed that i should mention he has a tail spot and 2 body spots on his other side this will mean something to anyone who knows about the breed, thanks everyone who is helping look for clifford. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, just seen Clifford's poster at Woodside dog show in Lanarkshire, Scotland which had people attending from all over the country, including lots of Kelpie owners who often have a soft spot for all things Australian (Im in N Wales). These dogs are like hen's teeth here, and on the off chance he shows up in my area Ill know about it. Good luck x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As you have got video your local TV station will prob be very happy to have this bit of local news. Sadly only moving pics seem to galvanise them - but this added to the rarity of the dog might do it for you! So don't let the police keep the CCTV until you have let got it copied or something for the local newsLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sharo, tried to call you but got no answer...........please make sure the police provide you with a crime number (not a "lost" number) and take a copy of the CCTV. I will try you again later. Its imperative you get some media coverage, try the local paper. N Somerset Show is coming up, lets hope he is back by then but if not please be prepared to go there and leaflet the cars in the car park. Target the vets too............he is an unusual breed so write to them all, with a poster and urge then to scan scan scan. In the meantime you must poster poster poster EVERYWHERE ~ someone knows where he is.......................Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Update.... My brother in law has come back from amsterdam, and we have now been looking at the cctv we have here, and we have on cctv a tall skinny person (we now know to be a woman blonde hair in 20ish with ponytail, my friend passed her on the horse on the track 2 mins before cameras picked up this person, walking down my driveway and down the side of my house where stables are, and then coming back out of driveway (altho you cant see clearly clifford) this person is being dragged and goes out of driveway 6 seconds faster than walking in, so definately now seems clifford has been stolen, i will now be contacting the police.....Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sharon went contacting dogwardens and kennels you would be better describing him, rather than using the breed name. I know from experience most would know this breed from a shetland pony. Clifford is distinctive with his markings use these to the max. Good luck xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
