maggi orr - seeing your photo of the sweetcorn on Drone SAR reminds me of a case in Cornwall. Admittedly it was a much smaller dog but she had apparently wandered into a field of miscanthus (a similar tall growing crop), become disorientated and lust laid down. It was only a search through the crop by owner's young daughter that led to her stumbling across her and she then had to follow the sound of her Dad's voice to find their way out.
I am sure a bbq at dawn or dusk has been suggested but if not you could try that on the edge of the field of sweetcorn such that the smell of cooking sausages or chicken gets carried into and across the field in case she is in there.

Good to talk just now and hope advice helps. I will contact Sian and Trisha. Get those posters out. I’ll do the hunt and try and find horse riders.

Maggi, tried to call you this afternoon and left a message. I've postered Great Rollright village hall, they have their saturday market tomorrow so lots of local people. I also went last night over to whichford woods on way home. saw your poster at the back entrance parking area by the field gate. Ive also put one on whichford village notice board. Emailed poster to Cherington Arms pub, the Cotswold Distillery have one up too. where else have you postered?

Thanks Sarah. I'm back and catching up. Maggi Orr have you managed to put up any posters locally to alert people in the area as not everyone is on social media? Sarah has spread the word locally via FB. The sooner people are aware of him the sooner you will get sightings reported.
