- Fantastic News - I hope that Kizzy enjoyed her week on the English Riveara, what a good job that a dog lover found her and gave her a place of safety and love but just goes to show how easily they can travel hundreds of miles so always look outside the boxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Woooo hooo another brilliant one for the BLUES. A very big THANK YOU to the driver for taking care of Kizzy and to his friend who notified him. Well done to owners for being so pro-active in their search for Kizzy and to everyone who has helped look out for her. I did speak to Kizzy's owner when she first went missing and the other day this has made may day along with the reunion of Patch CH3 and Maisie PR7. Come on you BLUES this is what we all love to see. - Its just such FANTASTIC news !! Kizzy's owners received a text from a man who had found Kizzy in a layby rummaging in the rubbish bins. She was by a very busy road and he thought she was abandoned or lost so took her home with him. The owners had erected large boards in the field next to the road saying they had lost Kizzy and someone saw this who knew the man caring for Kizzy and informed him. He contacted the very relieved owners and they are now driving back with Kizzy having spent part of the day sightseeing. Kizzy has been very well cared for by her finders and probably thinks she has been on a holiday having been for walks on the beach !! Her owners are going to get her chipped and make sure each collar she uses has a tag on it ! I have to say it was such a good idea of her owners to erect the large notices next to the main road as they always suspected she may have been picked up by a motorist............and it certainly paid off ! Kizzy's owners are absolutely over the moon ! Thanks to all who have looked out for Kizzy ! Welcome home beautiful Kizzy, please no more wandering off and stay safe from now on ! xxx Pam Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I hope there will be a local sighting but is it possible she has been picked up by someone using the layby and taken much further afield.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Have spoken to kizzy's owners and there is not any news of her as yet. I have emphasised Majorjets advice to contact dog wardens and kennels over a wider area as where Kizzy is missing from borders on several districts. Owners have postered and hopefully they will bring sightings or news of Kizzy very soon Pam xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Spoken to owner, photo will hopefully be emailed to admin later with the help of a relative. Kizzy has a dark brown collar on with her name. She has gone missing from owners farmland, which is right next to the A1 and also a layby which lorries park up on. She was with one of her owner's on a walk and disappeared within 15 mins. They have been postering in the area. Visited and contacted local rescues today, also the one which the local DW uses. Messages have been left with Police and DW, owner is going to ring again tomorrow. Have advised owner to also contact bordering Council DW's. Owner said they will register and leave an update. Hopefully Kizzy has been picked up and owners will get some good news after the weekend, especially once the posters start getting seen. Good luck. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
