- Great news, always extra worrying when they are old and in a strange place.

- Copied from local Highmoor NextDoor group, posted by lady who has started to search and put up a couple of posters:
“Just spoken to owner who is on his way back north as he has to return there but will be back Monday. His cousin is at Clay Pightles and will continue searching area and put up posters. Floyd is not a rabbiter he is also slightly wary of strangers so would need gentle coaxing if found. He has a collar and is chipped.” - 2018-10-05 11:20 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- Have alerts gone out please? I have not received anything.
Owner: he has now been missing for several hours. Two important jobs are :
1. Saturate the area with posters asap. People may have seen him already or may see him today but will not know that you are looking for him, so posters are essential.
2. There are many large properties in the square mile surrounding Clay Pightles which are likely to have ornamental ponds and swimming pools. You may be able to use Google Earth to locate these and ask each one directly to check their pools and ponds, including under pool covers. Sorry to mention this but it is important.
Hope he is found soon. - 2018-10-05 08:01 BorderCol
- He went missing from a house along Stoke Row Road which backs onto Burnt Platt Forestry land. If anyone can search or poster that area and around Wyfold Ponds that would be a good start.
Is he castrated? Unfortunately there are several people who walk bitches on heat in that area so he may have tracked one of those. - 2018-10-05 07:17 BorderCol
- I have added his poster to the Highmoor Nextdoor site, and sent it to Stoke Row Facebook Group where it is awaiting Moderator. If owner can get a poster outside Stoke Row school this morning it will be seen by many before the weekend break. Stoke Row shop is also used by many walkers and cyclists. Can we have more information about where and how he went missing please as area too vague at present for walkers to help search.
