- Worth talking to Cats Protection anyway as they should have experience of trapping cats!

- That`s good. I would borrow a cat trap from, either a rescue centre, or Cat Protection for a small donation,. I think. Place inside an object with his scent on, such as his UNWASHED blanket, or anything with his scent on, along with your scent too. Treats too if no other cats on the farm. If you can (With farmers permission) Put the trap on the farm in a suitable place. If you manage to trap Perry, and manage to take him home, I would put Perry under "House arrest" for ONE MONTH or he will probably go awol again.. Not easy, I know, as, I have had to do it myself. Paws xd.

- Update from the owner....Perry has been located safe and well..he is at a farm in between here and Attleborough.. Went to look several times and couldn’t see him, 4pm a cat turned up ready for food, called him, he was very scared but inquisitive too, meowing and looking, he heard the others and ran to hide.. eventually located him again I was able to let him sniff my hand and pick him up, but he was wary and scared of the other people, the farmer kindly bought us a basket, but Perry was having none of that, he went berserk, I had hold of his scruff but he was too strong, turned around and bit my hand then ran.. so yes we have found him but unfortunately couldn’t catch him.. so plan is to regain trust by visiting and calling and taking things slower..the people are very kind allowing us to come and go.. but yes he has been located..just hope now he does stay around there and doesn’t move on!

- Presume ALL outbuildings were checked. THOROUGHLY at the time Pery went missing? You have no doubt tried leaving his UNWASHED blanket in the garden when he went awol in a clean container? Could someone be feeding him in the area? I have been in contact with a cat owner, whose cat had been "Missing" for THREE MONTHS. The owners brother found him only ten minutes away from home. Apparently a woman had been feeding him fresh chicken every day. And a neighbour of mine put up posters when her cat went awol. He was "Found" two weeks later, very near to his own home. Someone else had feeding him. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant, Hand out posters to passers by; as many as you can. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper, in case Perry HAS climbed into a vehicle, which isn`t uncommon for cats to do. Hope Perry is home soon. Hopefully his microchip will work it`s magic. Paws xd.
